The Wellington Inn is an award-winning country pub and restaurant, situated in the village of Wellington, in the heart of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. In our restaurant you will find seasonal dinner and lunch menu’s along with an excellent selection of wine and beer at the bar. We pride ourselves of award winning food and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the bar and restaurant area.

The restaurant is situated away from the bar area to give you privacy and a relaxing atmosphere where you can try our award winning dinner menu. Designed to match the character of the building the restaurant features exposed beams and original brickwork creating a cosy country feel. The restaurant leads out to the conservatory which overlooks the garden, a great place to sit on a summers evening.
Whether you chose from our seasonally-changing à La carte dinner menu, or have a opt for a light lunch, you’ll experience outstanding culinary skills from head chef Neil Wadelin and his team.
The restaurant is open for lunch from Midday Monday to Sunday until 2:00pm (3:00pm on a Sunday). Our à La carte menu is available Monday to Saturday from 6:00pm until 9:30pm. Bookings are advisable, you can make a booking below or simply call us on 01432 830367.
The Wellington Inn boasts one of the best selections of real ales in the county, with local ales such as, Wye Valley Butty Bach, HPA and Hobson’s Best Bitter always available, together with our regularly changing guest ale. You can enjoy your drink in front of the fire during winter or in the beer garden during the summer. The bar area has plenty of seating away from the restaurant where you can enjoy a drink with friends and family, or even a coffee over a meeting during the day.
We stock a great selection of wines which complement your meal or can be enjoyed by themselves at the bar. Our spirits shelf has a selection for just about everyone from Special whisky and Gin to local Vodka.
Our bar is open during the day from Midday until 4:00pm, this can vary depending on season. We are then open again all evening from 6:00pm.
Each month The Wellington Inn hosts a number of events from special culinary evenings to events at the bar, you can see what events are coming up below. Please call if you would like to book a table at one of our restaurant events as tables sell very quickly.

The Wellington Inn is located in the village of Wellington, in Herefordshire. Wellington is situated on the A49 almost exactly between Hereford and Leominster. If driving from Hereford follow the A49 towards Leominster for approximately 6 miles, take the left turning sign posted Wellington, follow the road through the village for approximately 1 mile and you will see The Wellington Inn on the left hand side. There is limited parking in front of The Wellington Inn, you can find much more parking to the rear if you turn left after The Wellington Inn you can find this car park.Wellington Pub
